The Eng Family would like to invite friends and family to a viewing for CAPT Simon Eng, which will be held on Sunday the 11th of September from 2pm to 4pm at DeVol Funeral Home located at 10 E. Deer Park Drive, Gaithersburg, MD 20877.
The memorial service will be held on Monday, the 12th of September at 10:30am at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery Chapel located at 13801 Georgia Ave, Silver Spring, MD 20906.
After the memorial service, family members will gather at Gourmet Inspirations Restaurant in Wheaton, MD. Please make separate reservations at the restaurant if you plan to join.

Important details of the Memorial Service:
- Please carpool as we are expecting a large turnout and there is only one entrance to the cemetery.
- There will be valet parking available at Gate of Heaven.
- A short memorial service is scheduled to start promptly at 10:30am and end by 11:15am. Please arrive by 10am to park and get seated.
- Due to space constraints, and for the privacy of the family, we request only the immediate family remain at the cemetery to view the lowering of the coffin. If you are not part of the immediate family, please depart after the service.
Flowers:
- In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be sent to a US Relief Fund organized and managed by Samaritan’s Purse on Simon’s behalf. Please use this link to donate.
